Now the issue is that Mr. Stern will step in and likely put the screws to that innovative idea.

He'll probably mandate full names on Jerseys.

Not before the Knicks make a boatload of cash. It's not as if the team would have to ask for the NBA's permission to do this and anything Stern would do is likely to come after the fact.
ReplyDeleteTrue enough. But it would also be santioned beyond belief. Imagine the backroom dealing that would happen to ensure that the Knicks did not benefit substantially while the rest of the league picked it's nose?
